The House of Mouse EXPO is taking place this weekend at the Wyndham Lake Buena Resort near Disney Springs and last night they were having an after-party for their guests. It was originally planned to take place outside by the pool but with rain threatening, it was moved to one of the hotel’s conference rooms. After some searching, we finally located it!And we walked into this!Nothing says Disney like DJ Elliot (USA) and we found him in the corner booth.And on the decks we found this curious Mickey Mouse telephone.Instead of headphones or booth speakers, DJ Elliot was using it as his monitor! So cool!Dance floor was active.The music a mix of Top 40 hits and some Disney tunes.Spotted in the booth: DJ Elliot’s main squeeze Lindsay.DJ Elliot’s company Elite Beats will be providing the DJ’s on New Years Eve at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT and Disney Springs. We’ll be posting the details as soon as we get them!Full liquor bar was available last night.A good time was had by all.You know our ground rules. If we’re going to visit Disney, equal-time provisions require us to also visit Universal. So out to CityWalk we went.Not to any of the CityWalk clubs but instead to the Waterfront Stage.Where we walked into this!It was EDM Night last night and here we found DJ Josh Lawrence (USA).Lots of Classic EDM and EDM remixes such as “Rhythm Is A Dancer”, “Toca’s Miracle”, “Levels” and “Don’t You Worry Child”.Accompanied by impressive lighted hula hoops.You can never go wrong with Go Go girls.Lots of people up at the barrier.And even more up in the seating area.Josh Lawrence was pretty animated for the show that lasted more than 3 hours. Besides EDM, his set also included Dubstep and DnB segements. At CityWalk! Who knew?Josh Lawrence is a resident DJ at Myth Nightclub in Jacksonville. Last night was the only EDM night at CityWalk’s Summer Concert Series; next Saturday night will be Motown hits.A good time was had by all.Live! at the Pointe is the new club district at Pointe Orlando located along International Drive and it was our next stop. There’s a Top 40 club (Shark Bar), a Hip Hop club (Dr. Dre’s), a Sports bar (Sport & Social), a Country music club (PBR Cowboy Bar) and…..…..and electronic dance music club (Palm Tree Club).We walked into this!DJ Chino (USA) playing last night when we first arrived.Playing mostly vocal House music and EDM.Dance floor was jammed.Because the peeps love House music!There is a charge to park in the Pointe Orlando garage but if you make any purchase of food or drink, you can get your parking validated. Details and advance tickets HERE.Last night’s event was called “Chino & Friends” and one of those friends came on at 1AM: DJ Rupesh (USA)He would continue with the House & EDM vibe.Club remained packed.Everywhere we went last night, a good time was had by all.
