After missing three weekends in-a-row for that Europe trip, it was great to be back in O-Town again to check out the happenings. We were overdue for our annual visit to Mulligans in north suburban Longwood so that’s where we began our evening.Coming in the door, we walked into this!Friday night resident DJ Richie Rich (USA) was in the corner perch.The music included a lot of classic 90’s Dance hits such as Whoomp! (There It Is), “Baby Got Back” and “Rump Shaker”. And the rumps were indeed shaking on the dance floor!We even heard some DJ Icey (USA) “The One”.The group we refer to as the “Breaks Crowd” was in the club last night. Who knew?Mulligans has a full liquor bar and my Tanqueray & Tonic was under $8. Cheap!The Breaker Boys.The Breaker Boys & Breaker Chicks, joined by DJ Richie Rich.We know RR from his nights as a resident DJ at House of Blues’ famed Service Industry Night in Lake Buena Vista. There will be lots of Breaks being played at the Labor Day Bash at HOB on Sunday, September 6th. Everyone is going to be there so get your tickets HERE.A good time was had by all.We made a brief stop at CityWalk to check out progress of Luke Combs’ Category 10 restaurant and nightclub under construction on the Waterfront. We’re really not sure who Luke Combs is. Is he a DJ?Our final stop of the evening was at Iron Cow located over in Orlando’s Milk District.Before we could get further inside though, we had to try to talk our way past the Door Hostess.Once inside, we walked into this!In the perch, DJ Atnarko (USA).House music all night long.Dance floor was jammed.It can be difficult to differentiate the various genres of House music but we thought we heard Progressive House, Deep House and Tech House among the songs being played.We ran into lots of peeps we know from the local House scene.Thank you everyone for your poses.DJ Chad Andrew (D/USA) up next.What a vibe!Chad and Atnarko would switch-off back-and-forth all evening. A lot of the selections had vocals.1AM and no one was leaving just yet.A wonderful show and a good time was had by all.
