By now you know that if we’re traveling, we like to share entertainment choices in the various cities we’re in or the ships we’re on. We’re currently sailing on our first river cruise ever on longship Amadeus Amara from Amadeus River Cruises. This is a one way cruise on the Danube River originating in Vienna, Austria and ending near Bucharest, Romania. One of the first lessons we’ve learned is a river cruise ship is nothing like an ocean cruise ship. We began our ship tour at the Amadeus Club located on Deck 3 aft.It’s very cozy but unlike other “clubs”, there is no DJ, there is no music and most important of all, there are no people. We’ve passed through several times and there is never anyone here.But you will find people at Panorama Bar, located on Deck 2 forward.On Thursday night the Krystal Jazz Duo (H) was delivering to us a 70’s/80’s Night. On river cruises your average passenger age is probably 80 so not a lot of people out and about after 10PM.But we did hear some great music hits such as “Dancing Queen”, “Night Fever”, “Celebration” and “Girls Just Want To Have Fun”.For those that were here, a good time was had by all.
