Club Report: Pool Set (Resilient Lady)

Since this cruise aboard Virgin Voyages Resilient Lady was a cruise to nowhere, Sunday was spent completely at sea. It was a day to relax, eat, have a few drinks and eat some more. This was the small wading pool on Deck 15 forward. It featured that two-level wrap-around bar.
At the aft pool on Deck 15 midship, Top 40 music was playing but we couldn’t find where the DJ was stationed. We finally spotted him upstairs on Deck 16.
And we finally met the ship’s regular resident DJ. DJ Iconic (BZ).
He had a great view of the main pool from upstairs and was delivering the tunes.
On Royal Caribbean you typically get 1 DJ. On Carnival you typically get 2. On MSC you get 1 or 2 DJ’s. But at least on this sailing of Resilient Lady, we had 3 DJ’s!!
Spotted on Deck 16: Virgin dance team member Kirsten with proud mom Courtney.
If you’ve followed this website for long you know that many cruise ships have White Nights and White Parties. Virgin does not but instead they have, in keeping with their ships’ livery, a “Scarlet Night”. Even the hallway lights were decked out. We were going to go but an early flight back to Orlando meant it was smarter not to. From a music standpoint this was one of our best cruises ever. Not sure if their regular sailings have as much EDM as this sailing did. If you’d like to see more information about the ship itself, check our travel Blog today here.
