Club Reports: Fredster’s, Whole Enchilada (Suburbia)

We had such a good time a couple weekends ago visiting suburban clubs that last night we decided to do it again. This time we began in north suburban Maitland at newer venue Fredster’s.
Located in the former Silly Grape space, its been completely renovated. This place gets jammed so if you don’t want to sit or stand at the bar, call to make a table reservation ahead of time and weeks ahead of time is not too soon!
We were here to see live band Skin Deep (USA) play and they came on around 8PM. You can check-out the band schedule here. We noticed popular 80’s hair band Rockit Fly (USA) plays here next month.
As soon as they began their set, the dance floor got immediately occupied.

Next we moved on to west suburban Winter Garden, home of The Whole Enchilada.
A quick service Mexican restaurant downstairs, they have a rooftop bar upstairs. And over in that far corner we found…..
DJ Rage (USA)
We’re told they’re going to be expanding this rooftop to create more room and expand capacity. There was a pretty good crowd on hand last night but it can get packed up here too.
The music Top 40 hits old and new.
We’re overdue for an article about the lively downtown Winter Garden music scene so we’ll be back! At both venues we visited last night, a good time was had by all.
