Club Reports: Attic Club, Carousel Lounge (MSC Euribia)

By now you know that if we’re traveling we like to share entertainment choices in the various cities or ships we’re on. We’re on MSC Euribia doing a 7nt cruise in northern Europe and we arrived in Hamburg, Germany this morning to thick fog and snow!
On Night 1 of the cruise we visited Sky Lounge, Euribia Lounge and the White Party. Last night for Night 2 we visited two more venues beginning with Attic Club.
Located on Deck 18 aft, this is considered the ship’s main dance club even though it is rather small.
Fresh from the awesome White Party the prior night, we found DJ Jay Kosch (F) in the club’s booth.
The music mostly on the House side during our visit.
It opens at 11PM most nights. During our visit no one was dancing but the DJ says it can get crowded at times. If the next day is a sea day, people stay out later but if the next day is a day in port, ship passengers are apt to turn-in early.
You’ll find Attic Club onboard MSC‘s Meraviglia-class ships including MSC Meraviglia, Bellissima, Grandiosa, Virtuosa and of course this ship, Euribia. You’ll find the larger Garage Disco onboard Seaside-class ships including MSC Seaside, Seaview, Seashore and Seascape.
Our second stop of the night was Carousel Lounge located on Deck 7 aft. This is typically a show lounge with live bands and other entertainment.
Beginning at midnight, it becomes Carousel Lounge After Dark with a DJ and dancing.
DJ TJ (ZA) was on the decks during our visit.
Hey guys, 100% female out there!
We heard Classic Eurodance hits such as “Rhythm of the Night “(1993) and “Baby Don’t Hurt Me” (1993).
The venue’s walls are all video walls with a continuous stream of faux-water flowing down throughout the club.
We heard some David Guetta (F), Spice Girls (GB), Eurythmics (GB) and Peggy Gou (ROK).
Great dance mix!
Stunning club, great music! A good time was had by all.
