Club Reports: Electronic Downtown Bar Crawl, Atlantic Dance Hall

Orlando Pub Crawl was having an electronic music bar crawl last night so that is how we began our Saturday night!
The crawl began at Elixir Bar where you picked up your lanyard that provided admission to four downtown venues including one free drink in each of them.
The inside of Elixir was packed because this is where you obtained your free drink. An EDM track was playing in the background.
Out on their famous patio, not much of a crowd just yet. Due to an earlier thunderstorm, the booth was covered by an awning.
DJ Pantoja (USA) was the opener providing House music.
Pub crawlers slowly arrived.
Around 9PM, DJ Wavy (USA) took over.
He would continue that House vibe.
As part of the DJ group Birmingham Drive (USA), we had seen them play last year on the Corona Beach Stage on Day 3 at EDC-Orlando.
Dance floor activity definitely picking up.
Hula hoop skills!
Spotted on the dance floor.
Around 9:15PM it was time to crawl over to the next club: Aero Bar. The Beacham was originally on the schedule but the crawl was moved here instead.
Resident DJ Robin (USA) was in the booth providing the beats.
Most of the pub crawlers remained at the far side of the rooftop.
But as they continued to arrive, the dance floor filled-up.
As a rooftop bar, at Aero you’re literally dancing with the stars. The lasers were flying!
House remixes of “Insomnia” and “Gas Pedal” jammed the dance floor.
The peeps want House music!
Saturday night resident DJ Dominick Morrison (USA) was getting ready to come on at 10:30PM but unfortunately that was also when it was time to crawl over to the next club!
Celine was next!
DJ Dennis Da Menace (USA) was on the stage providing the tunes.
Just like at Aero, the initial arrivals were all stationed over near the downstairs bar.
But as more arrived, they migrated closer to the DJ booth.
DJ played some Tiësto (NL), some Daft Punk (F), some Fisher (AUS), some Acraze (USA).
Mostly EDM during the early portion of the program. The typical Saturday night format at Celine is Latin House and Brazilian House.
The crawl would move on to Wall Street Plaza next but we departed at this point. Perhaps the largest bar crawl of the year is the Crazy 80’s Pub Crawl taking place on Saturday, July 15th. Get out your neon colors, leg warmers, bangles and skinny jeans for this one! Details are in the link provided in this article’s first photo.
Since we had visited Universal CityWalk on Friday night, it was only fair we visited Walt Disney World on Saturday night! So here we were at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort.
And Disney‘s only remaining owned and operated dance club, Atlantic Dance Hall.
And we walked into THIS! The place is so cavernous that it’s hard to look crowded. But last night, it looked crowded!
DJ Michael Wycoff (USA) was in the booth.
The music a mix of classic Hip Hop, Line Dances and Top 40 hits.
Most songs are accompanied by their respective music videos such as this Britney Spears (USA) tune.
Spotted by the door: A bevy of beautiful Disney princesses.
Spotted by the stage: This group of former Pleasure Islanders.
Spotted on the dance floor: Alex busting a move!
Spotted on the far side: A birthday girl and friends!
We know DJ Michael Wycoff from his nights at “Late Night Disney Springs“. That weekend outdoor dance party sadly ended during the Covid closures but he says there’s hope we could see it again!
We had sadly missed the “Cupid Shuffle” last night; perhaps next time.
Atlantic Dance Hall is open Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights from 8PM to 1AM and admission and parking are free. Everywhere we went last night but especially here at ADH, a good time was had by all.
