Club Reports: Room 22, McQueens, Bikkuri Lounge, Iron Cow

It was great to be in Orlando on a Friday night! We began our club hopping at Room 22.
The DJ was playing Hip Hop and Reggaeton.
Most of us will remember Room 22 under its prior name Vintage Lounge. The lengthy Vintage bar still occupies the north end of the room.
Room 22 kind of follows a Coyote Ugly type of format with female patrons brought up onto the bartop for fun and games with liquor poured down their throats as a reward. There’s never a shortage of takers.
You can never go wrong with Go Go girls.
Interesting place and definitely worth a stop on your own downtown tour.
McQueens Social Lounge was our next stop.
We arrived to find DJ Skinny Soprano (USA) in the booth now located at the south end of the room.
There are two bars downstairs including this one at the opposite end from the DJ.
Above it, the DJ booth used to be up there overlooking things but it kept the DJ disconnected.
That skull wall remains a feature of McQueens and it’s a great place for those selfies.
The music on Friday and Saturday nights is House and EDM.
And at this early hour, there was already a growing crowd.
The front sign at Bikkuri Lounge was unlit last night. But for those in the know, you have to come around back and go upstairs anyway.
We did just that and walked into this!
We walked into the latest edition of “Lost In Trancelation” ft. DJ Suzy Solar (USA).
The early crowd here for some melodic Trance.
You’ll find the long-running “Lost In Trancelation (LIT)” here every 1-2 months.
Along with resident DJ Suzy Solar!
Bikkuri is home to this famous color-changing light wall.
We saw DJ’s! Spotted on the balcony: LIT founder DJ Robb Blak (USA) who had opened the show earlier, along with event promoter Chris Hodges.
Spotted on the dance floor: DJ Derek Fereal (USA) with Kristin. Look for him with DJ Duke (USA) at new venue Cool Kats Club inside Taco Kat on March 30th. Details here.
We ran into many peeps from the Trance scene.
Around midnight, the headliner: DJ Ciaran McAuley (IRL)
We’re told this might have been his first U.S. appearance!
He brought those Trance build-ups and crashes to the room.
When she’s not playing, Suzy is always on the dance floor!
The next edition of LIT is on Friday, April 14th with famed DJ Craig Connelly (GB) right here in this room, up close and personal.
Just a few blocks away is Orlando’s Milk District.
About a city block long filled with bars, restaurants and clubs, it’s so-named because across East Robinson Street is the T.G. Lee Dairy. Moo!
And it’s home to one of Orlando’s great dance clubs, Iron Cow.
Door Hostess Stephanie was in the foyer making sure everyone paid.
After obtaining her approval, we walked into this!
Resident DJ Lola B (USA) was in progress.
House music all night long.
She had the crowd bouncing.
We ran into many peeps from the House scene.
The instigator of last night’s event, Luis Evans from Vizion 1 spotted here with his main squeeze Jennifer.
We saw DJ’s! Spotted near the stage: DJ Dave Gluskin (USA) of Audiotrap with DJ FactorE (USA).
Spotted near the WC: DJ Michelle Furr-e (USA)
Spotted on the dance floor: DJ Ed Abisada (USA) with Joanne
Spotted in VIP: Peggy and Emily hanging with DJ Gregory B (USA).
Spotted by the bar: DJ Carlos Mendoza (USA). Don’t miss his “Sundown Sundays” show tomorrow night at The Patio as they’ve got DJ Julia Govor (RUS) playing!
Spotted behind the bar: DJ Flashdrive (USA)
And then, there he was! The headliner, DJ Jody Wisternoff (GB).
The dance floor got absolutely jammed!
We had seen Wisternoff last April at Skylounge atop Amway Center.
Jody Wisternoff records on the Anjunadeep label.
Everywhere we went last night, a good time was had by all.
