Club Reports: Neon Beach, Sundown Sundays @ The Patio, Celine Nightclub

The “Party Weekend” continued last night as OEN returned to downtown Orlando. We began at Neon Beach.
There is a large bar in the center and a DJ booth over in the corner.
I didn’t know the DJ’s but the music was mostly Techno. It was really too loud for the small room with just a few patrons.
There is a Florida beach vibe to the place so they get extra points for theming.
They’ve added a new seating area near the front with this neon sign for requisite selfies. Neon Beach is located on Orange Avenue near Jefferson Street. Admission is free.
Next stop The Patio which we know is Top 40 on Friday & Saturday nights. But on Sunday nights it’s time for “Sundown Sundays”, the long-running special event featuring mostly Techno.
DJ Zurrenda (USA) was in the booth but sadly this is when my camera flash quit working!
After numerous attempts, I had to return to my car to swap-out cameras.
By the time I returned, DJ JC Swank (USA) had claimed control of the booth.
We’ve seen him play before and he continued the Techno vibe of the night.
Spotted in the corner: Claudia, DJ Brasuca (BR/USA), Ducky Orlando & Christa
The Patio is partly indoors and partly outdoors and last night was a beautiful evening to be outside.
The numerous bars in The Patio were populated but at this early hour, the dance floor was not.
Next and final stop, Celine Nightclub.
Where we walked into THIS! THIS is where everyone was.
Wall-to-wall people here to see…..
DJ Honey Dijon (USA/D)
I was not familiar with her but it was obvious many others were!
Her House set was pretty damn amazing! Some of her tracks had a definite Disco vibe to them too.
Yes, this is where everyone was. We spotted so many downtown friends on the dance floor!
The lasers were flying.
Omicron variant? Delta variant? No one got time for that shit.
First time seeing DJ Honey Dijon and was not disappointed. She ended her set right at 2AM with Cheryl Lynn (USA) disco hit “Got To Be Real“.
It was hard to move about the place…..on a Sunday night!
And a good time was had by all.
