Club Reports: Monkey Bar, Embassy Irish Bar, Aero Bar By King Bob in Club Reports February 20, 2021 Wall St. Plaza has received permission from the city to block off their street again on Friday and Saturday nights for block parties. Hip Hop and Top 40 dominate the music played in most of their venues…..except Monkey Bar. And it is there where we began our Friday night. DJ Duke (USA) in the booth delivering House music! Even though it was relatively early, the dance floor was already active! The inside bar was busy. The outside bar was busy. DJ Duke and guest DJ’s have begun a new Thursday night gig of House, Tech House and Techno at Neon Beach on Orange Avenue and it’s starting to catch-on! Close to midnight, resident DJ Dity (USA) getting ready for the shift change. House music all night long. Spotted on the dance floor: Christina, Jeremy & Jill Spotted by the bar: DJ Duke with fiancé Kat Awwsome. Monkey Bar is always an “awwsome” place to visit! Ready to hear some classic Irish tunes and maybe dance a Jig or two, we headed over to Embassy Irish Bar. No Irish music here though! DJ Gamma (USA) in the booth playing mostly House! The dance floor was filled with characters! We usually see Jamie, Amy & Tanyia at Breaks events. Who knew? I think I heard some 70’s Disco and 80’s Funk in her set too. Great stuff! Spotted on the front patio: DJ Aaron Bond (USA) with birthday girl Brandy. Hopefully this will become a new Friday night House music option! Damn, already after 1AM. We’re overdue for a Friday night visit to Aero Bar. Here we found Friday night resident DJ Cliff T (USA) hanging out in the booth with Lighting Tech Kelley T. House music and EDM had this rooftop dance floor packed! Kelley had the lasers flying. Cliff T had the dancers dancing! It’s like this every Friday and Saturday night at Aero! Everywhere we went last night, a good time was had by all. Social:TwitterFacebookEmailLinkedInRedditTumblrPinterestWhatsAppPocketTelegramLike this:Like Loading...
