Amway Center was the home for my 4th visit to see The Chainsmokers (USA). I had seen them previously at CFE Arena at the University of Central Florida prior to them getting “big” and then also at House of Blues in Lake Buena Vista and most recently at club XS in Las Vegas.The stadium was surprisingly crowded but with plenty of empties too.And then there they were…..Drew Taggart and Alex Pall are The Chainsmokers (USA).My contact at Amway was off for the night so I was confined to nosebleed seats. They weren’t too bad though. Good vantage point for the lasers! And they were actually pretty impressive!Drew singing from a large metal suspended sphere. Near the end, the opening act 5 Seconds of Summer (AUS) came back out to perform with The Chainsmokers.Drew was wearing a harness for the final song but he never used it. During the show in Tampa the evening prior, he used it to ride a hoverboard around Amalie Arena above the audience. Why this was scrapped for the Orlando show is unknown.But a good time was had by all.
