Club Report: Dead Coconut Club

Every year during Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios, CityWalk‘s main dance club Red Coconut Club is re-themed to become Dead Coconut Club. While we were out at CityWalk Sunday night, we checked it out.
We arrived to find DJ Trini D (TT/USA) in the heavily-decorated booth.
The music was mostly 70’s Disco & 80’s during our visit.
We’re not going to show you photos of all the decorations they’ve installed downstairs and upstairs so that you can discover it for yourself. But in this view you can at least see the cornfield around the dance floor.
During our visit the dance floor went from this…..
To this. And this was early; only around 10PM. It gets crowded as patrons leave HHN and want something else to do and Dead Coconut Club is thee place!
The themed DJ booth.
We were heading out the door when Trini D put on an EDM set. That necessitated our return back to the dance floor lol.
A good time was had by all.
Admission to Dead Coconut Club is free and is open to all ages. Please be aware though that the Universal garages do charge $35 to park during HHN so it doesn’t really pay to come here unless you’re already here for HHN, another event, are staying in a Universal Orlando resort or have a Universal annual pass. They open at 4PM with pre-recorded music but the DJ’s don’t spin until after 9PM.
