We needed to get some photo content for our other website Save Pleasure Island Blog late yesterday afternoon at Disney Springs and on the drive over, we heard one of our DJ friends was playing at the Hilton Lake Buena Vista pool in Lake Buena Vista. So we had to check that out.We followed the signs to the Pool.A beautiful pool complex and we heard the music coming from under that umbrella towards the rear of the pool.DJ NautiKat (USA)The music mostly older Top 40 classics such as “My Girl”, “Can’t Help Myself” and “Voulez-Vous”.NautiKat relocated to central Florida from Ohio late last year so it was great to see her out again. She plays tonight at the Spring Beats music festival in Brooksville and tomorrow at the Wyndham Orlando pool party.Did you know that the John Lennon Room and Rooftop Terrace atop Hard Rock Live are open on Friday & Saturday nights? It’s apparently CityWalk‘s best kept secret!Locate this sign to the left of the Hard Rock Live concert hall and climb the stairs and you’re in!We did and arrived to find this! And what a great surprise! DJ Lex (USA).Always so animated, she was playing a mix of Top 40, Reggaeton and not unsurprisingly at a venue called Hard Rock Live, some hard Rock.Only about 20 people here though because it is kind of a secret. You’re able to visit the John Lennon Room too, a venue typically reserved just for private events, weddings and VIP tours. It’s jammed with John Lennon/Beatles (GB) memorabilia. It includes this white baby grand piano signed by famous pianists. And more down this hallway. There is a full liquor bar.And spectacular views of the CityWalk restaurant and club complex. We first met DJ Lex at Will’s Pub in 2024 when she was DJ’ing a 70’s Disco night. More recently, she was one of the DJ’s at the “Springs In Motion” dance parties at Disney Springs. Come check out this venue but act quick. They’re only open Friday and Saturday nights from 9PM to Midnight. Admission is free and Universal parking is also free after 6PM.Red Coconut Club in the CityWalk Promenade becomes Green and Red Coconut Club over Christmas, Dead Coconut Club over Halloween and Cursed Coconut Club over Mardi Gras. They were closed last night for renovations because next month it will become yet another concept for this summer:The (Red)tro Coconut Club. And Blog-favorite DJ Michael Wycoff (USA) will be delivering the retro 80’s, 90’s and 00’s tunes on the select nights listed. We can’t wait to see what they do with the place!Switching from Universal Studios back to Disney World, our final stop of Friday night was Atlantic Dance Hall. As noted on their sign, they are now only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights from 8PM to 1AM. The art deco club is enormous so it’s hard to ever look crowded. But it was actually pretty crowded. In the perch last night, DJ Mynd (USA).Lots of classic Hip Hop hits in the lineup last night along with Line Dances. Most songs are accompanied by music videos.A great EDM segment included a “Let’s Go/Sandstorm” mashup, “When Love Takes Over”, “Everytime We Touch” and “Lookout Weekend”. Spotted on the dance floor: The just-mentioned DJ Michael Wycoff with Laura.Atlantic Dance Hall is one of the few clubs in the Orlando area where many of the patrons wear Mouse ears. Well, actually, Atlantic Dance Hall is the only club in the Orlando area where many of the patrons wear Mouse ears.Hey guys, the crowd is about 75% female at ADH.A Dave Aude’ (USA) EDM remix of Disney-tune “Let It Go”. Wow!During the “Cha Cha Slide” it became obvious that a good time was had by all. Atlantic Dance Hall is free, parking is free and it’s located at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort in Bay Lake.
