Club Reports: The Capital Room, Grumpy’s Underground, Aero Bar

Located on the main drag in downtown Sanford, The Capital Room has a dance party every Saturday night that you need to check out.
There are two rooms beginning with the front room where this large bar is stocked with craft liquors.
The music takes place aft where these tables would get cleared to create a dance floor.
DJ Johnny Park (USA) joined with DJ Svengoolie (HELL) for the opening set.
Tables cleared, the dance floor got active.
While this happens every Saturday night, look for nightly “after-party” shows too during EDC weekend! We’ll post more details in our upcoming EDC Afterparty article.
A lot of great old skool Breaks in his set!
Spotted in VIP: The Three Witches of Eastwick Sanford, Carla, Mel & Dolly.
DJ Chris Hawk (USA) taking over next.
Always a fun vibe at The Capital Room.
He had the dance floor bouncing.
His set was more on the uplifting Trance side.
We then headed back to to the big city where Grumpys Underground has in the past few years become Orlando’s home of Breaks.
DJ Rosk (USA) was still on the decks when we arrived.
Dance floor was pretty jammed.
That look you get from great Breaks!
A few moments later, time for the headliner!
DJ Mizzo (USA)
Dance floor got crazy!
Laura was all over the place!
Over the years we’ve seen Mizzo play at Neon Beach and Hammered Lamb in Orlando and at Blackbird Ordinary in Miami. This was his best set that we’ve heard!
Spotted outside: DJ Solstice (USA)
Spotted in the foyer: DJ Medley (USA) & DJ Dee Dee Slay (USA)
Spotted on the patio: Amanda and Carrie Marie
Spotted on the dance floor: DJ Rosk with Leona

Spotted in Time Out: Tracy
All too soon it was time for a shift change.
With DJ Medley taking over the controls.
Dance floor stayed busy. Grumpys is located in Orlando’s Mills/50 district.
Downtown Orlando is home to one of our favorites, Aero Bar.
We arrived to find this! It was “Orlando Pride” weekend with a parade and impressive fireworks show followed by this afterparty at Aero.
Delivering the tunes, DJ Nela (USA).
Nela had the dance floor bouncing!
Lots of EDM mashups in her fast-paced set.
Everybody shufflin!
Aero is a rooftop venue so you’re literally “dancing with the stars”.
DJ Nela was as animated as we’ve seen her. She was constantly running out onto the dance floor to join the crowd!
Everywhere we went last night, a good time was had by all.
