This was apparently announced this past weekend at Barbarella 2.0. They’re moving as you know and the new venue will be inside The Axe Trap located at 2600 Lee Road in Winter Park. This appears to be a new construction building near where the demolished but famed strip club Booby Trap used to be. This is less than a block east of the I-4 interchange, kind of behind the Chevron station.Barbarella 2.0 had been operating from inside pickle ball facility Clearone Badminton off John Young Parkway after they had vacated their downtown Orlando spot. We will miss this location because it had an underground warehouse party vibe to it and ample parking. We’re told the City of Orlando told Barbarella ownership that they could not operate a nightclub in there. So they’re moving to Winter Park and, good news, the new location has a full-liquor bar. Long live Barbarella 3.0. More details once we get them.
