Club Reports: Morse Code, MM Club at AVA, Iron Cow

The weekend had arrived and we began our adventures in downtown Winter Park at Morse Code.
We walked into this!
The evening’s line-up was “lined-up” in the booth: DJ Chris Hawk (USA), DJ Knightlife (USA) and DJ Johnny Park (USA).
DJ Johnny Park was playing first, mixing a House/Tech House set.
There was a crowd on the dance floor!
DJ had that crowd bouncing.
DJ Chris Hawk was up next.
He would continue with a mostly House/Tech House set although at times there was a Trance feel to some of his selections.
First time seeing Chris Hawk DJ’ing since he did an all-Trance set back in July 2022 at Neon Beach.
Morse Code is a beer & wine only venue but the bar stayed jammed during our entire visit.

House music all night long.
Well damn! A good time was had by all.
A couple blocks away is AVA Mediterraegean. It’s a restaurant on the ground floor…..
But those in the know head downstairs to MM Club at AVA.
Where we walked into this!
Friday/Saturday night resident DJ Oteo (USA) was in the corner booth.
Pumping out House music during our visit.
The bar here too was absolutely jammed and a good time was had by all.
We next left Winter Park for Orlando’s Milk District and the Iron Cow.

Sometimes the bar was jammed but sometimes you could walk right up.

And then at midnight, there he was, in the distance, the headliner…..
DJ Mihai Popoviciu (RO)
Continuing with that House vibe, his set began slow and methodical.
But we got lots of build-ups and drops as his set went on!
Dance floor stayed active.
Mihai Popoviciu plays at Wonderground in Quito, Ecuador tonight if you’re in the area.
Everywhere we went last night, a good time was had by all.
