Concert Report: Road To Miami Breaks

Miami Music Week has arrived but last night the “Road To Miami” ran through The Hammered Lamb here in Orlando.
But first we had to get past Gatekeeper Nicole! She had just enough meanness to assure nobody snuck in without paying!
The party opened at 9PM with DJ KJ (USA) providing the opening set.
Breakbeats were the order of the evening.
There was a surprisingly early crowd out last night.
Early dance floor activity.
DJ KJ played on the Rynobus Art Car stage at EDC-Orlando in 2022.
The Hammered Lamb has an indoor room but all the action last night took place outside on this covered but open-air patio. The March Orlando weather was perfect!
Spotted at the bar: Hector from Ace Cafe who is now a manager here.
We ran into so many peeps last night; many we knew but some were new.
Next up in the booth, DJ Si-Dog (USA).
His record label Dog Eat Dog Records is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
His beats kept the club bouncing.
Breakers gonna break.
For those going to Miami this week, don’t miss the DEDR rooftop pool party one week from today at High Bar on Collins Avenue in South Beach. Details and advance tickets here.
Yup, breakers gonna break!
The vibe was thick!
Next, Si-Dog turning the controls over to…..
DJ Dustin “Dynasty” Nelson (USA)
He would deliver a 100% Dynasty set with a mix of old and new.
The beats were infectious.
That look you get from great Breaks!
It’s been a couple years since we last saw Dynasty.
You can never go wrong with Go Go girls.
Everybody wanting to get their picture with Kriss Reign!
Heard lots of compliments about last night’s sound; there was definitely lots of boom in the room thanks to John Campisano Sound.
More peeps!
Around midnight, the fourth and final set…..
DJ Jimmy Joslin (USA)
Dance floor stayed active.
It never got quite as crowded as last December’s Jimmy Joslin Birthday Party show here at the Lamb but it was hardly empty either and the enthusiasm was through the roof!
Anyone up for some Disco? Get your 70’s threads ready and look for an announcement soon about a 70’s Night ft. Jimmy Joslin. It will be so groovy!
Plenty of green in the club last night!
It was a great night of Breaks and a good time was had by all.
