Tonight there are FREE events taking place at both Walt Disney World‘s only remaining owned and operated club Atlantic Dance Hall as well as over at Universal Orlando‘s club district CityWalk. So last night we headed over to get the scoop.At ADH, we found DJ Michael Wycoff (USA) in the booth playing mostly Top 40, Hip Hop hits and Line Dances.Just not a lot of people here one night prior to NYE. It should be different tonight.Prior to the covid19 closures there used to be a paid event at Atlantic Dance Hall on NYE that included party favors, a large selection of hot snacks and champagne at midnight. They’re no longer doing that so you can come out tonight for FREE as they’re treating it like a regular Sunday night.We’re told that DJ G-Clef (USA) will be on duty tonight.Spotted by the booth: DJ G-Swag (USA) with Yasmen.Spotted on the dance floor: Former Pleasure Islander Dawn operating at high speed!In the 4 Disney theme parks, DJ’s will be scattered all over but those are paid events, Disney park reservations are required and all 4 parks are sold out! Disney Springs is free tonight with numerous locations offering live entertainment plus DJ’s provided by Elite Beats. Here at ADH, parking is free tonight if available but if it’s full, you’ll have to park at Disney Springs and take a bus over to Disney’s Boardwalk Resort.Next we headed over to Universal Resort and its CityWalk complex to scope-out tonight.Out on the Promenade, there was a DJ playing on the raised booth.DJ Josh Lawrence (USA) tells us he will be playing here tonight too for NYE and it will be mostly an EDM set!CityWalk also used to have a ticketed event on NYE called “eve” but post- covid19 that is no more and tonight will be FREE. Based on last year, there will be thousands here tonight!Bob Marley’s will be open tonight as will Pat O’Brien’s but CityWalk‘s only remaining true dance club is Red Coconut Club and it will jammed too!We found DJ FRNKROK (USA) in the booth last night during our visit!Dance floor was about 80% female last night during our visit so no complaints there! The RCC music format is a mix of Top 40, Hip Hop hits and Latin and will be similar tonight.We’re told Friday night RCC resident DJ Chino (USA) will be spinning here tonight for NYE. We were also told by CityWalk Guest Services that free parking begins tonight at 6PM for those that want to come out. Electro-Magic DJ’s will also be scattered in the 2 Universal theme parks Universal Studios and Islands of Adventures but paid admission is required for those. So if you want to go out tonight to ring in the new year, you’ve got FREE options at both Walt Disney World and Universal Studios!
