Club Reports: Elixir Bar, Aero Bar, The Patio

Even though it was kind of chilly, it was great to be back in downtown Orlando again last night.
We began the evening on the famous outdoor dance patio at Elixir Bar.
DJ Pantoja (USA) had been playing since around 9PM and he was being informed that his time was up! It looked like Lighting Tech Marc Gandara was telling him, “Get out now!”
DJ Teatown (USA) took over at that point, delivering the House.
We were expecting to attend a completely sold out DJ VNSSA (USA) show here last night but apparently it had gotten cancelled but we never heard. The music was great nonetheless.
So the dance floor was deserted and their outdoor bar wasn’t that busy either.
Spotted on the dance floor.
Spotted in VIP.
So our next stop was across Washington Street at Aero Bar.
Where we found Friday night resident DJ Cliff T (USA) in the booth playing Deep/Chill House initially and then as the dance floor got populated, more regular House and EDM.
We walked into THIS!
As you know by now, Orlando Entertainment News is dedicated to the music, not to the views.
I repeat…..
The lasers were flying!
As a rooftop venue, you’re literally dancing with the stars!
DJ Cliff T has been an institution here at Aero since the days when the venue was called Sky 60.
Always fun times at Aero!
Next stop was The Patio where they like to brag that there’s “Always A Party”. OEN has been on a mission for years now to prove this shameless boast really isn’t true and we thought last night given the weather would be the perfect night to finally disprove this fantasy of theirs.
With Orlando’s first cold front of the season having passed through a day earlier, we thought no one would be attending this outdoor venue. But peering in through their rooftop, we saw that the dance floor was actually packed!
And we walked into THIS!
Friday/Saturday night resident DJ Parry (USA) was in the booth delivering the hits.
The music is old and new Top 40 and his sets always draw the crowds.
We heard older hit songs like “Party In The USA”, “Turn Down For What” and “It Wasn’t Me”.
DJ Parry has been an institution here at The Patio since the days when the venue was called Eye Spy.
Wobble Baby Wobble!
Drats, foiled again! There really IS always a party at The Patio!
A good time was had by all.
