This was Vyce Lounge located at 112 S. Orange Avenue downtown in the V-District. (Vixen/Vintage/Vanity/Vyce) We’ve noticed that it’s been closed for awhile and now we know why.It was home to this tiny raised DJ booth overlooking the dance floor where we saw DJ’s such as Magic Mike (USA), Carlos Mendoza (USA), Elias R (USA) and Anthony Attalla (MEX/USA) play here.But it’s being replaced with a new club called Proper which will apparently feature an all-Vinyl music format. We thus expect the new DJ booth that will be down at eye level where patrons will be able to appreciate what they’re hearing. Opening in March. We’ll keep you updated.
