Club Reports: Heist Lounge, Elixir Bar, The Patio

Heist Lounge is located on a side road off the beaten path of International Drive but when I saw a flyer advertising an all-female DJ lineup, I knew I’d have to go find the place!
Arrived to find DJ Frequie-G (USA) playing the opening set.
Although we had met her before it was the first time seeing her play. Her set included a great Breaks remix of Beach Boys (USA) classic “Good Vibrations”.
There’s a huge dance floor at Heist but seating being pushed off into a corner isn’t really conducive to getting anyone dancing.
Spotted by the stairs: DJ Swagkerr (USA), DJ AfrodisiaX (USA) & DJ Zack Lee (USA)
Damn, more DJ’s! Spotted at the bar: DJ Amygurl (USA), DJ Pepper (USA) & the legendary DJ Micro (USA).
Up next, DJ GanjaLustt (USA) continuing with Breaks.
Tech Chris Bishop was making sure the lights added to the vibe.
You can never go wrong with an all-female DJ lineup! DJ Amygurl and DJ Slay (USA) would be playing later.
The music was great but we needed to be moving on!
To downtown Orlando and Elixir Bar.
Arrived here to find DJ Elias R (USA) in the booth.
Unfortunately a light but persistent rain shower kept the dance floor empty while the nearby covered bar area stayed busy.
It’s why the Elixir patio is one of the great venues in town!
Spotted passing through: DJ Solh (USA). His techy-sounding new song “Electrify” has over 10,000 plays on Soundcloud so give it a listen here.
DJ Gian Carlos (USA) took over next.
Continuing with that Tech House vibe of the night here at Elixir.
But even though the rain had ended, it was the bar that was doing most of the business.
Federal blogging regulations require us to check the veracity of bold claims made by nightclubs such as The Patio and their “Always A Party” allegation.
So they never know when we’re coming to verify. After passing through security, we walked into this!
Resident DJ Parry (USA) in the booth playing Top 40 hits.
The dance floor was busy as the bubbles kept falling.
I was hoping for House music but it is what it is!
Spotted in the booth: DJ Parry with his main squeeze Darielle.
Damn, they passed the test again! There really IS always a party at The Patio. A good time was had by all.
