Next week we will have an article about the decrepit state of downtown Orlando nightlife but there are still a few viable options down there and last night we checked-out several of them. We began at downtown favorite Aero Bar<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Where we learned that Saturday night resident DJ Dominick Morrison (USA) aka “The Dom” is now also the Friday night resident DJ.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The music a mix of EDM and House.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Aero Bar<\/em> has this large bar plus two smaller ones so you rarely have to wait for a drink.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The lasers began firing.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Since this an outdoor rooftop venue, you’re literally “dancing with the stars”.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Just a handful here at this early hour since it was our first stop but by midnight this dance floor will be packed. The peeps want EDM.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
DJ played an amazing remix of Faithless (GB) hit “Insomnia” with vocals from Bebe Rexha (AL\/GB) called “New Religion<\/a>“. It’s barely been out a week but The Dom had it here at Aero<\/em>. The price is right here too; admission is free.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We next followed the path downstairs to The Patio<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Friday\/Saturday night resident DJ Parry (USA) was in the perch here.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The music more on the Top 40 and Hip Hop side down here.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Just getting cranked-up for the evening but it will get packed down here too in another half hour.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Bubble music.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The Patio<\/em> is just one venue within the complex called “The Block<\/em>“. One security check gets you access to The Patio, Aero Bar, The Corner<\/em> and 64 North<\/em> and admission to all are free.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
You never know who you’re going to run into on the dance floor at The Patio<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
See those dark windows on the right? That’s the nightclub called Taco Kat<\/em>. See those brightly lit windows on the left? That’s the Sonora Tacos<\/em> fast food restaurant. At least that’s what we think. Now under new ownership, we were way overdue for a visit.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

When you first want to enter the club, you approach this soft drink vending machine where the security guard opens it for you, creating a secret opening in the wall.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
And you step inside to find Taco Kat<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Here we found DJ Duke (USA) in the booth.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
We were trying to decide what genre of music Duke was playing and were informed it was Melodic Techno.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
A mix of lasers and those cobalt blue neon tubes give Taco Kat<\/em> an awesome vibe. As you can see, full liquor bar too.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Keeping with a kat theme, the aft-located WC area is called the “Litter Box”. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The lasers were flying. With the new ownership, we’re excited to see many more events taking place here.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Leaving downtown, we next headed over to the Milk District and Iron Cow<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Where we tried to chat our way past Door Hostess Stephanie but she was having none of it.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Once inside, we walked into this!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
This DJ duo was playing when we first came in. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Made up of DJ Chad Andrew (D\/USA) and…..<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
DJ Atnarko (CDN\/USA)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The cow was absolutely PACKED! <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
That look you get from great House music.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
We saw lots of DJ’s. DJ Lola B (USA) flanked by friends had opened last night’s show.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"

Spotted by the dance floor: Beaumont Stanford of Drop Shop<\/em> fame along with DJ The Reverend (USA).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Spotted on the patio: Tonda of La Femme du Fromage <\/em>fame with DJ The Reverend.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Spotted on stage: DJ Chad Andrew, Corinne and DJ Carlos Mendoza (EC\/USA).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Spotted by the bar: DJ Romano Arcaini (D\/USA) with friend. Romano plays Sunday evening at Alfie’s HiFi <\/em>in the Mills\/50 district.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Spotted by the stage: DJ Spock Ninja (USA) and DJ Jane.Doe (USA).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

And then at 12:30AM, there he was, the headliner…..<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

DJ Three (USA)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Playing a mostly House set off vinyl.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
With this evening’s selections waiting nearby.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

And it got even more packed!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
It was hard to move about the place. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
DJ Three was the opening DJ here at Iron Cow<\/em> when the venue first opened back in early 2018 as seen in this photo from our Blog <\/em>archives.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
