Last night was the grand opening of 480N Wine Bar<\/em>, located within Winter Park Village<\/em> in Winter Park in the spot vacated by Flutes Champagne Bar<\/em>. It wasn’t easy to find; had to ask some employees of other establishments if they knew where it was. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

But we finally located it and walked into this!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The DJ booth is located up front and it was here we spotted DJ Mighty Shari (USA).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
It was a Disco night and she was playing a mix of 70’s Disco and Nu Disco.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
There is an actual dance floor adjacent the booth. We heard tunes such as “I Love the Nightlife”, “Can’t Wait For The Weekend” and “I Want Your Love”.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
They have two shiny disco balls so you know the place is legit.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
480N is a long narrow room with a large bar on the right side.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
There’s a good amount of bar seating with tables along one wall and all the way in the back too. There is also seating on the front patio.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
DJ Mighty Shari was spotted with DJ Brian Burnside (USA) and DJ Vint Soul (USA).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
And spotted here with DJ Cub (USA) who had played the first two hours last night. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
At 10PM there was a short burlesque show. They say you can never go wrong with Go Go girls.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Well damn, they <\/em>were right!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
480N<\/em> has an extensive wine and beer list. We stuck with the hard stuff.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We next crossed over the border from Winter Park into Maitland, home to Good Times Bar & Grill <\/em>located along Keller Road.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The first Friday of every month means Abyss <\/em>Night and we walked into this!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Abyss <\/em>resident DJ Lavidicus (USA) was in the booth which is located up on the stage.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The music mostly Industrial, Alternative, Goth, Power Noise and other darker genres.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
DJ kept the dance floor active.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Good Times <\/em>has a variety of entertainment types happening which can range from Karaoke to Comedy to 70’s & 80’s Nights to live show bands. Our favorite band Franchise Players (USA) play here on February 20th. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The next Abyss <\/em>goth night is the first Friday next month which is March 6th.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Good Times<\/em> has a shiny disco ball so you know they’re legit.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Oh wow, hadn’t seen those two on the right since the old Independent Bar<\/em> downtown!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Good Times <\/em>has a full liquor bar and a large free parking lot.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
