Located in Orlando’s uptown area, Oliv Bar<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We walked into this.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
DJ Kris Kokopelli (USA) was in the booth when we arrived.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Breaks were the order of the evening here at Oliv Bar<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
This was just our fourth visit to this newer club and it’s been jammed each time.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Coming up next, DJ Amber Jane (USA).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
She was SO animated last night.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Hair Stylist by day, DJ by night.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Her set had the dance floor bouncing.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
This is a small room so it’s not hard to look crowded. But it was crowded.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Even one of the next DJ’s was out there dancing!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"

Oliv Bar<\/em> has a full liquor bar, staffed last night by resident bartendress Amber.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We saw quite a few peeps from the scene. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

\"\"
Up next, a back-to-back set from DJ Menges (USA) and DJ Genesis (USA). <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We had seen DJ Genesis previously at The Hammered Lamb<\/em> but this is the first time seeing Menges.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Getting excited during a Breaks remix of Fragma (D) hit “Toca’s Miracle”. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
A good time was had by all.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Immediately next door in the same building is Los Tres Golpes<\/em>, primarily a Latin\/Dominican restaurant. Inside, Latin music was playing. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
But when you went into their alcove behind the restaurant, that’s where the party was! Here we found DJ Freeda Sol (USA) on the turntables.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Mostly House music was the order of the evening in Los Tres Golpes<\/em>. Always love Freeda Sol when she wears her super flares!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
She had a contingent on her dance floor.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Close to 11PM and the next DJ was getting ready to take over.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

DJ Berto (USA)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

You know it’s a good set when the DJ is bouncing to his own music!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We had to check the OEN <\/em>archives to find out we haven’t seen DJ Berto play since last March at the “The Get Down” in Miami during Miami Music Week<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

DJ Frankmatik (USA) has two big events upcoming on the final weekend of January. The first is an afternoon\/evening affair on Saturday, January 25th at the Altira Pool<\/em> atop the Grand Bohemian Hotel,<\/em> a downtown Marriott <\/em>property. That runs from 2:30PM – 8:30PM and features DJ Atnarko (USA). The next day on Sunday, January 26th at Grape & The Grain<\/em> in the Mills\/50 District, DJ Sneakypete (USA) is featured on a show that begins at 4PM and runs until 11PM.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Time for one more stop, this time downtown. The Robinson<\/em>. After getting wanded, we headed upstairs.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
You arrive into a room with this busy bar.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
But the fun takes place in the adjoining “Disco Room”.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Where we walked into this.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
DJ Chino (USA) in the perch playing a mostly EDM set during our visit.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Chino had just played on NYE at Red Coconut Club <\/em>in Universal CityWalk<\/em>. We saw the pictures and it was bedlam in there!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Last night songs like “Rhyme Dust”, “Drugs From Amsterdam” and “Do It To It” kept the floor bouncing.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Party in VIP!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The Robinson<\/em> has shiny disco balls all over the club so you know the place is legit.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
