By now you know that if we\u2019re traveling we like to share entertainment choices in the various cities or ships we\u2019re on. We\u2019re currently sailing on cruise ship Discovery Princess<\/em> embarking from the Port of Los Angeles and headed to San Diego, San Francisco, Astoria, Victoria and Vancouver. Nearly all cruises have a Sail-Away Party typically taking place on the Lido Deck, weather permitting.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

DJ JB (JA) was in charge of delivering the tunes.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
DJ opened with the “Cupid Shuffle”.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The ship’s animation team was on-hand to lead the festivities. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Of course there was “The Wobble” and “Follow The Leader (The Roof Is On Fire)”. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Not as crowded as last week’s Sail-Away Party on Carnival Radiance<\/em> but not empty either. Crowd bouncing for “Let’s Get Loud”.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Members of the ship’s theater team joined in the fun.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
They did a couple dance routines for us.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Overall a fun party and a good time was had by all.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The Piazza<\/em> is the name of the ship’s atrium area and at night it became home to the ABBA Dance Party.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The ship’s DJ JB (JA) was back in the perch to deliver those amazing ABBA (S) tunes!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Opening with “Mama Mia”, the dance floor filled almost immediately.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Songs such as “Waterloo”, “Gimme Gimme Gimme” and “Voulez-Vous” filled the atrium floor.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
A few watched from above but not packed like we’ve seen in some ship atriums.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
All the ABBA classics continued with “Dancing Queen”, “Money Money Money” and “SOS”. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Damn, I think I was the youngest person in this crowd!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
But you can never go wrong with ABBA and a good time was had by all. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
