It occurred to us last night that we’ve never been to Will’s Pub<\/em> before. But it was 70’s Night so we had to be there!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We walked into THIS!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The show already in progress, led by DJ Lex (USA).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
She was quite animated! Upon arrival, Donna Summer (USA) hit “I Feel Love<\/a>” was playing. While definitely a Disco song, it was also one of the first big songs to incorporate a Moog <\/em>synthesizer and was thus far ahead of its time!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Lots of bell bottoms, platforms & go go boots. Dance floor was already busy for Disco songs such as “Boogie Oogie Oogie<\/a>“, “Car Wash<\/a>” and the slower “How Deep Is Your Love<\/a>“.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
And getting jammed for forever young Abba (S) classics like “Dancing Queen<\/a>” & “Super Trouper<\/a>“.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
And of course you can’t have a 70’s Night without Village People (USA) “YMCA<\/a>“. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
You know Will’s Pub<\/em> is legit…..they’ve got a shiny disco ball above their dance floor!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
And the DJ had one too!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The peeps want 70’s Disco! We’re looking at holding another 70’s Night downtown later this Spring so stay tuned!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

A good time was had by all.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Big thanks to Blog <\/em>reader Lanie who reminded us of this EDM party called “United We Dance” taking place last night at The Beacham<\/em>!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

EDM hits such David Guetta (F) ft. Bebe Rexha (AL\/GB) “I’m Good<\/a>” kept the dance floor full.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

You know The Beacham<\/em> is legit…..they’ve got a shiny disco ball above their dance floor!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Shift change around midnight!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

DJ Jonathan Hess (USA) taking over.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Continuing with EDM hits of course but more apt to play short snippets of songs rather than longer versions. He is based in Virginia.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The peeps want EDM! Friday nights at The Beacham<\/em> have been a mix of all kinds of music formats these past few months with varying results but this EDM night was huge!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

This Spring’s trend of micro skirts were in abundance. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
OEN <\/em>fully supports this trend!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Absolutely packed for “Poker Face<\/a>“, “Be My Lover<\/a>“, “Paris<\/a>” and “Outside<\/a>“. All EDM & Big Room bangers all night! <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

What a great night!
