Tonight there are FREE events taking place at both Walt Disney World<\/em>‘s only remaining owned and operated club Atlantic Dance Hall<\/em> as well as over at Universal Orlando<\/em>‘s club district CityWalk. So last night we headed over to get the scoop.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

At ADH<\/em>, we found DJ Michael Wycoff (USA) in the booth playing mostly Top 40, Hip Hop hits and Line Dances.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Just not a lot of people here one night prior to NYE. It should be different tonight.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Prior to the covid19 closures there used to be a paid event at Atlantic Dance Hall<\/em> on NYE that included party favors, a large selection of hot snacks and champagne at midnight. They’re no longer doing that so you can come out tonight for FREE as they’re treating it like a regular Sunday night.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We’re told that DJ G-Clef (USA) will be on duty tonight.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Spotted by the booth: DJ G-Swag (USA) with Yasmen.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Spotted on the dance floor: Former Pleasure Islander<\/em> Dawn operating at high speed!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

In the 4 Disney <\/em>theme parks, DJ’s will be scattered all over but those are paid events, Disney p<\/em>ark reservations are required and all 4 parks are sold out! Disney Springs<\/em> is free tonight with numerous locations offering live entertainment plus DJ’s provided by Elite Beats<\/em>. Here at ADH<\/em>, parking is free tonight if available but if it’s full, you’ll have to park at Disney Springs<\/em> and take a bus over to Disney’s Boardwalk Resort.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Next we headed over to Universal Resort<\/em> and its CityWalk<\/em> complex to scope-out tonight.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Out on the Promenade<\/em>, there was a DJ playing on the raised booth.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

DJ Josh Lawrence (USA) tells us he will be playing here tonight too for NYE and it will be mostly an EDM set!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
CityWalk <\/em>also used to have a ticketed event on NYE called “eve” but post- covid19 that is no more and tonight will be FREE. Based on last year, there will be thousands here tonight!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Bob Marley’s<\/em> will be open tonight as will Pat O’Brien’s<\/em> but CityWalk<\/em>‘s only remaining true dance club is Red Coconut Club<\/em> and it will jammed too!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We found DJ FRNKROK (USA) in the booth last night during our visit!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Dance floor was about 80% female last night during our visit so no complaints there! <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The RCC <\/em>music format is a mix of Top 40, Hip Hop hits and Latin and will be similar tonight.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We’re told Friday night RCC <\/em>resident DJ Chino (USA) will be spinning here tonight for NYE. We were also told by CityWalk Guest Services<\/em> that free parking begins tonight at 6PM for those that want to come out. Electro-Magic <\/em>DJ’s will also be scattered in the 2 Universal <\/em>theme parks Universal Studios<\/em> and Islands of Adventures<\/em> but paid admission is required for those. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
