No new ground covered last night as we visited several familiar places in downtown Orlando beginning with new club Fixtion<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We arrived to find DJ Mitch (USA) in the booth playing House.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
New to the club: a tech booth has been added. Fixtion <\/em>and most of the south side of the Wall Street Plaza<\/em> club complex is owned by the ownership of the now-closed Gilt Concert Venue<\/em> and they’re moving equipment from Gilt <\/em>over to WSP<\/em>. We’re told lasers and other lighting from Gilt <\/em>will be added here soon!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Fixtion <\/em>was fairly busy last night but nothing like some nights we’ve visited.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Awhile later, DJ Phoenix Jagger (USA) had taken control.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
And the dance floor was seeing some activity.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
While Fixtion <\/em>faces Orange Avenue, Monkey Bar<\/em> is directly along Wall Street.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
DJ Hulian (USA) was in the booth when we visited. House music, of course!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The dance floor was empty, but the inside bar was jammed.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
As was the outside bar located on their balcony.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Looking down from the balcony, we could see that a stage has been installed for today’s FSU <\/em>football game Watch Party. DJ Mynd (USA) will be hosting the show and it’s free! Go Gators!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

DJ Adrian B (USA) would take his turn in the booth a bit later.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Firepower! Monkey Bar<\/em> already had good sound but these units from Gilt <\/em>only make it better!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Next stop, The Vanguard<\/em>. Programmed by Insomniac<\/em>, some of the world’s top DJ’s play here!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We walked into THIS!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The opening DJ Pacho Berrocal (USA) was still on when we arrived.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Presented by Factory 93<\/em>, the music last night, Techno Techno Techno!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Dance floor was jammed!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
We’ve complained constantly about how dark they keep it inside The Vanguard<\/em> and last night was no different. DJ Marino Canal (E) came on at 11:30PM.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The DJ’s here, nothing but a silhouette. Marino Canal’s excellent set included a lot of Techno with vocals.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
INL in the house. These two flew down from Minnesota just for last night’s show!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Blinded by the light.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
You couldn’t see him but there was no mistaking the distinctive outline of his head and body!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The headliner, DJ Carl Cox (GB).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
He yelled his first trademarked “Oh Yes! Oh Yes!” early in the program.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
We caught a better glimpse of him when he played here at The Vanguard<\/em> in October, 2021.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
And even more so when we visited him in the outdoor booth at Igloofest Montreal<\/em> during a Canadian winter! Tickets and lineups for the 2024 Igloofest <\/em>shows will be going on sale here<\/a> soon.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Packed to the rafters!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

One could almost see him here! His Techno set was booming!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
