We began our Friday night at Icon Park<\/em> along International Drive. This is home to the Orlando Eye<\/s> Coca-Cola Eye<\/s>, The Wheel.<\/em> The free parking garage was jammed, the restaurants were jammed, the bars were jammed.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

One of the most popular spots in the complex is Tin Roof<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
We didn’t go inside but there are two separate rooms of music with live Rock bands playing in each.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
But to show our diversity, we did stop by Blake Shelton’s (USA) restaurant\/entertainment venue Ole Red<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
There’s a large bar to one side when you come in.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
And a large stage on the opposite wall.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
OakLee Band (USA) was playing Country music during our visit.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
People actually dance to Country music. Who knew?<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
You know you’re in a Country venue when you see cowboy hats indoors.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Come on in, y’all! The real Blake Shelton plays at Amway Center<\/em> on Saturday, March, 4th. Tickets here<\/a>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

About a mile south of Icon Park<\/em> is Fire Lounge<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
We arrived to find DJ Ray Love (USA) in the booth.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
He was playing mostly 90’s Hip Hop hits during our visit.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Just a moderate-sized crowd at this early hour but the place gets crowded before midnight.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Lots of tables to sit at but that dance floor gets jammed.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Heat Lounge<\/em> is located at ICEBAR Orlando<\/a><\/em>. Entry to Heat <\/em>is free but there’s a cover charge to go inside ICEBAR<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Entry gets you a fur coat to wear inside along with a cocktail served in a “glass” made out of ice. Stay as long as you can handle the temps.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Heat Lounge<\/em> has a large bar across the rear of the club.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Come early unless you don’t mind standing.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

OK, that was fun but no more Country and no more Hip Hop. It was time for the good stuff at Iron Cow<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Arriving close to midnight, we walked into THIS.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
These three guys would be providing last night’s music!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
First, a tag team set between resident DJ Atnarko (USA) and…..<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
…..DJ Nick Whitney (USA).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Dance floor was jammed.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
House music all night long.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
And then at 12:30AM, there he was!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
DJ Black Loops (D)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
He had the club bouncing!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Including this group.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Black Loops is based in Berlin. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
First time seeing him play live.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Spotted on the dance floor: DJ Freda Sol (USA)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Spotted at the bar: DJ Mighty Shari (USA) and DJ Jeff Jefferson (GB). Mighty Shari plays tonight at Tibby’s Winter Park<\/em> from 6PM to 10PM. Jeff Jefferson will be playing at Love to Be…in Miami<\/em> with Roger Sanchez (USA) during Miami Music Week<\/em> next month.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
