Our beloved former home of Independent Bar<\/em> and Barbarella<\/em>, it was followed by a mere months-long stint as Country bar Wicked Whiskeys<\/em> but now it’s simply The Corner<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

There were a couple of DJ’s in the booth playing Top 40.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
And there were actually some people on the dance floor.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
But as more-or-less a clone of adjacent The Patio<\/em>, its yet to find a niche of its own. So we’re happy to report that on Fridays beginning November 4th, underground House music is coming to The Corner<\/em>. Yes, DJ Dominick Morrison (USA), who helped create and build the long-running “Sundown Sundays” at The Patio<\/em>, will be bringing his creativity (and famous light show) to this room. They will be showcasing local House DJ’s with an occasional booking of a big name touring DJ. We’ll post a flyer as soon as we receive it. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

When you return, you’ll still see this familiar wall.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

And this familiar bar top.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Those neon selfie signs that were previously at Inside At The Patio<\/em> are now here by the familiar bench seating. They’re bringing glory back to this fabled space. Can’t wait for this to happen!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Up above on the rooftop over The Corner<\/em> and The Patio<\/em> is Aero Bar<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

And speaking of Dominick Morrison, there he was!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

His EDM set had the dance floor packed!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
He also delivered a surprising amount of 70’s Disco last night which brought cheers from the crowd!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The lasers were flying!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Barbie <\/em>core was flying!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Of course we can’t forget Dominick Morrison from his former DJ nights at Mannequins Dance Palace<\/em> in Pleasure Island<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Friday and Saturday nights at Aero Bar<\/em> for fun times under the stars!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Two nights in a row for Elixir Bar<\/em>!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Arrived to find DJ Yasa (USA) in the booth playing a kind of Downtempo House set.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Just a handful on their famous outdoor patio at this early hour.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
You’ll recall the cover over the DJ booth was removed ahead of Hurricane Ian’s arrival last month. But a completely new construction is coming that will add VIP areas too beside the DJ booth along with a new cover.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Continuing with the House, DJ Flashdrive (USA) on next.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

And when he plugged in that mic and electric guitar, we knew things were about to get completely different!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
