By now you know that if I\u2019m traveling I like to share entertainment choices in the various cities or ships I\u2019m on. So here we were yesterday afternoon on Carnival Legend<\/em> sailing out of Baltimore and experiencing their Sail-Away Party.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
DJ Lindy Legend (BZ) was on the stage for this party on the pool deck!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Cruise Director Cam was leading the festivities.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Carnival’s Fun Team<\/em> was here as well.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The crowd was much larger than what we experienced last month on Carnival Magic<\/a>. Of course every Sail-Away Party ever on any ship always has the “Cha Cha Slide”.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
And the “Cupid Shuffle”.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
And “The Wobble”.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Something tells me this was the “YMCA”.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The Cruise Maryland<\/em> terminal is right in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor and within minutes of departing, we passed under the Francis Scott Key Bridge<\/em> which carries I-695 over the harbor.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
And then about an hour later, the twin spans of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge<\/em> which connects Annapolis with Maryland’s eastern shore carrying both US 50 and US 301. Hours later we would finally leave Chesapeake Bay near Virginia Beach and head out to open sea towards destination Bermuda.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The ship’s impressive disco is called Medusa’s Lair Nightclub<\/em> which we visited late night.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
With Medusa herself overlooking the dance floor.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
We found resident DJ Lindy Legend in the booth playing Motown <\/em>hits for the first hour.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The impressive Lucite <\/em>dance floor lit up in different colors.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The two-level dance club is similar to the one we experienced a few years ago on sister ship Costa Mediterranea<\/em>. The entrance and bar are upstairs while the DJ booth and dance floor are downstairs. Only a few takers though for songs like “Just My Imagination”, “Ain’t No Woman (Like The One I Got)” and “My Girl”.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

But when the DJ switched it over to 70’s Disco and 80’s Funk, the floor got jammed!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Songs like “Celebration”, “Brick House” and “She’s A Bad Mama Jama” filled the dance floor!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
We spotted a few butts doing “Da’ Butt”.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
