Our friends over at Theme Park Shark<\/a><\/em> have sent us an update on the club scene at Universal CityWalk<\/em>. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

As you will recall from our prior article, CityWalk<\/em> hours were reduced to 12 Midnight closing times but apparently with Halloween Horror Nights<\/em> now in progress, they’ve been extended to 1AM again.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Red Coconut Club <\/em>has been rebranded, at least during HHN<\/em>, to Dead Coconut Club<\/em>. We’re informed that there are no Universal <\/em>classic horror movies being played in there after all but there is a DJ in there playing Dance music with some Halloween-themed tunes being intermixed at times.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

There are some spooky drink specialties. They’re open from 5PM to 9PM as a haunted cocktail lounge and from 9PM until 1AM as a dance club! Yea!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The Rising Star<\/em> karaoke bar stays busy and as in the past, there’s a DJ between karaoke sets.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Dueling pianos can still be found at Pat O’Briens<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

And of course Bob Marley’s<\/em> stays jammed for a live Reggae band with a DJ between sets.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Sadly, CityWalk<\/em>‘s main dance club The Groove<\/em> is being turned into an escape room called Great Movie Escape<\/em> and construction on that project continues.
