What do you get when you mix an Amway Center<\/em> crowd coming out of the 80’s Freestyle Explosion<\/em> show with downtown’s annual 80’s Pub Crawl<\/em> crowd and put them together for an 80’s Freestyle After Party? To find out, we began on the ground floor at Chillers<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Home to those frozen alcoholic slurpee machines!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
DJ 2Step (USA) was in the booth playing 80’s Freestyle.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
I wanted one of their Purple Orgasm drinks but the bar was just too crowded!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Up to the second floor for Cahoots<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Here we found DJ Scott (USA) in the booth playing 80’s Freestyle.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The bar was crowded here too! You may remember Cahoots <\/em>under prior name Big Belly Brewery<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Some of the peeps were dancing in Freestyle-style unison! <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Now up to the rooftop for High Tide<\/em>, the new name for what was once Latitudes<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
High Tide<\/em> is pretty much as you remember Latitudes <\/em>except during the 1.5 year renovation project every board on the wood deck and awnings were replaced.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The main bar is still there but like the rest of the rooftop, now sporting a more Caribbean ambience.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The north bar is still there as well and was doing some brisk business.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We arrived just in time to see DJ Jimmy Joslin (USA) take over the boards from DJ KJ of K5 (USA).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The dance floor was already seeing some action.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The music…..80’s Freestyle of course!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
There were plenty of people busting their 80’s moves!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
There’s no style like the freestyle!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
DJ Nsane (USA) took over a half hour or so time slot.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
We’re told he was a big part of the Orlando dance scene back when all this music was new!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Rooftop stayed jammed!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Spotted by the booth: DJ KJ with vocalist Dana Dee. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
DJ Danny C of the Invaders (USA) now resides in Huntsville but used to call Orlando home.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
One banger after another had the club bouncing!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Things got crazy!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Everyone showing they still got it!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The twins were up next! Take DJ Ray…..<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Add MC Richie Rich. Put them together and you get…..<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Twice As Nice (USA) aka The Babalu Bad Boyz. Having migrated to Power96<\/em> in Miami, they are Orlando veterans with prior shows on radio stations such as 95.3Party<\/em> and 102JAMZ<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

I believe their music crossed into the early 90’s but they kept the dance floor crazy!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Keep on, keepin’ on!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Wow, what a night!
