Once known as Orlando’s famed nightclub The Edge<\/em>, a complete gutting and renovation of the building has turned Ace Cafe Orlando <\/em>into a cutting-edge music venue in its own right! And last night, Ace Cafe<\/em> went Trance!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The night began with an opening set from DJ Suzy Solar (USA).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We don’t normally comment on DJ attire but Suzy Solar was absolutely adorable in her 90’s retro JNCO<\/em>‘s!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Just a handful on the dance floor at this early hour.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Festival pricing was in effect as it often is for DJ shows here but please note you get a “triple” for that price.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Her Trance set operated at high tempo! She tells Orlando Entertainment News<\/em> that they’re working on a big show for as soon as April of this year so stay-tuned; we’ll keep you updated!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We last saw Suzy Solar perform at Electric Daisy Carnival – Orlando<\/em> back in November!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Dance floor activity had picked-up a bit.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

What they lacked in numbers was made up for in enthusiasm!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

First time seeing Radion6. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The Dutch producer is on Armin van Buuren’s (NL) Armada Music<\/em> label.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Closing with some vocal Trance and Motorcycle (GB) hit “As The Rush Comes<\/a>” had me choked-up; such a great song!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

And then there he was! DJ Talla 2XLC (D)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
He was as animated as I’ve ever seen him!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The lasers were flying!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
The light show was as impressive as I’ve seen it indoors at Ace<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

I counted a little over 100 patrons in the massive club so it never did look very crowded. If you put the same 100 in Bikkuri Lounge<\/em> where a lot of prior “Lost In Trancelation<\/em>” events were held pre-Covid, it would have been packed!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Indeed, that’s where we last saw the Frankfurt-based DJ play. PHOTO LINK<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

He had the crowd bouncing! Look for some more big name shows from CME Productions<\/em> as soon as March. We’ll keep you updated on that too!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
