Heist Lounge <\/em>is located on a side road off the beaten path of International Drive but when I saw a flyer advertising an all-female DJ lineup, I knew I’d have to go find the place!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Arrived to find DJ Frequie-G (USA) playing the opening set.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Although we had met her before it was the first time seeing her play. Her set included a great Breaks remix of Beach Boys (USA) classic “Good Vibrations”. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

There’s a huge dance floor at Heist <\/em>but seating being pushed off into a corner isn’t really conducive to getting anyone dancing.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Spotted by the stairs: DJ Swagkerr (USA), DJ AfrodisiaX (USA) & DJ Zack Lee (USA)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Damn, more DJ’s! Spotted at the bar: DJ Amygurl (USA), DJ Pepper (USA) & the legendary DJ Micro (USA).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Tech Chris Bishop was making sure the lights added to the vibe. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

You can never go wrong with an all-female DJ lineup! DJ Amygurl and DJ Slay (USA) would be playing later.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The music was great but we needed to be moving on!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately a light but persistent rain shower kept the dance floor empty while the nearby covered bar area stayed busy.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

It’s why the Elixir <\/em>patio is one of the great venues in town!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Spotted passing through: DJ Solh (USA). His techy-sounding new song “Electrify” has over 10,000 plays on Soundcloud so give it a listen here<\/a>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

DJ Gian Carlos (USA) took over next.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Continuing with that Tech House vibe of the night here at Elixir<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

But even though the rain had ended, it was the bar that was doing most of the business.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Damn, they passed the test again! There really IS always a party at The Patio<\/em>.
