Following a quick trip to Alaska, it was Friday night in the city. Beginning the evening at Barbarella <\/em>for “Discotheque”. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

DJ Flashdrive (USA) in the booth playing Disco and Nu-Disco.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Just a handful on the dance floor when I first arrived.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The DJ booth is brought down to the floor on Friday nights.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Flashdrive never fails to amaze as he masterfully crafts a vibe.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Dance floor activity quickly began to build.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
“Discotheque” happens every Friday night and admission is free. However, in two weeks they will have a ticketed event as Grammy-nominated DJ Todd Terry (USA) will be playing! Advance tickets here<\/a>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Next stop Celine Nightclub<\/em>.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Arrived in time to catch the tail-end of a set by DJ duo Yokai (USA).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Dance floor was already jammed!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
And then, there he was, the reason everyone was here: DJ Claude vonStroke (USA).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Everyone surged forward!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Spotted on the dance floor: Traci<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Spotted in the thick of things: Kelly & Mauricio<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Spotted up front (of course): Storm & Amelia<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Claude vonStroke plays on and created the Dirtybird Records<\/em> label. We had not seen him play since 2018 at The Beacham<\/em>. PHOTO LINK<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

During my visit his set was House rather than the Dirtybird <\/em>House he’s famous for but he had everyone bouncing!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Saw a line waiting to get into Elixir Bar<\/em> so had to check it out!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Out on their famous patio, DJ duo Marsh & Nox Vahn (USA).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
Elixir <\/em>was packed too!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The music Deep House almost Trance.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
