Club Reports: Eve Nightclub, Studio 27, Independent Bar, Elixir Bar

It’s been more than a year since we dropped-in on Eve Nightclub so we were overdue for a visit!
Saturday night resident DJ’s Kevin Kon (USA) and Jay-R (USA) were in the booth when I first arrived playing mostly Hip Hop.
One of the most beautiful clubs downtown, the room where you first arrive into Eve contains two bars.
While the main room contains the DJ booth and dance floor, VIP booths, and another bar. The lighted chandelier above it all, when lit-up, is amazing. There was also a little bit of Dancehall or Reggae flavor to some of the selections.
First time seeing DJ Jay-R since 2017 when we saw him at STK in Disney Springs. LINK.
While the dance floor was empty during our early visit, there was a party already taking place in the VIP Suite behind the DJ booth! Cheers!
Studio 27 is over on Church Street where Native Social Bar and Mako’s once existed.
The DJ booth was on autopilot when I passed through, playing Hip Hop.
The ownership group has really upgraded the venue nicely since they took over the idle space.
Small group on the dance floor. I don’t think they’ve really figured out what patron group they’re targeting though.
You know by now if it’s at all possible on a Saturday night, I’m going to try to stop by Independent Bar.
Just as it should be on a Saturday night, DJ Indie John (USA) in the booth.
Decent crowd on the dance floor moving to 80’s New Wave and Alternative.
Spotted in Economy Class seating: DJ Rob (USA) & DJ Parry (USA).
Everybody loves the 80’s!
Elixir Bar has become a regular stop on the Saturday night circuit.
DJ duo Meen (USA) on the main stage!
Even on this chilly night, the famous Elixir patio is the place to be.
Mostly non-vocal House music had everyone moving!
Meen consists of DJ’s Matt Enos (USA) and Enrique Negron (USA).
Always such a great vibe out here!
But wait, there’s more! Inside we found DJ Chino (USA) on the gold decks.
On a per square foot basis, it was equally crowded inside!
Everyone was having a good time.
Chino’s set skewed more on the Vocal House side compared to outside.
Everywhere I went last night, a good time was had by all.
