Located at the corner of Orange Avenue and Washington Street, The Corner is best known as the former home of Independent Bar.And beginning last night and every Friday night, it’s home to “Frequency”, a night dedicated to Underground House music.We arrived to find DJ Miraxy (USA) in the booth.And she was playing mostly but not completely non-vocal House.At this early hour, just a handful on the dance floor. I-Bar‘s old metal dance floor was removed and replaced with this wood floor for this venue’s brief stint as a Country bar called Wicked Whiskeys.As a $10 cover charge special event, doors to The Patio next door are closed on Fridays and you have to enter from Orange Avenue.Extra sound, lights and shiny disco balls are brought-in for the event.We recall the now-packed “Sundown Sundays” at The Patio took awhile to catch-on.Around 11:30PM, DJ Dayzwithout (USA) took over.He continued with that House vibe!Next stop Iron Cow located in Orlando’s “Milk District” area.DJ Jeff Jefferson (GB) was already on when we arrived.Jeff Jefferson was a resident DJ of Birmingham (UK) famed-club Miss Moneypenny’s.Spotted on the dance floor: Shari in black-on-black-on-black.Decent crowd in the club for House music on this show brought to us by SoulArtefacts.Final stop Bikkuri Lounge located in Orlando’s “Viet Nam Town” area.We walked into THIS!In the booth, DJ Suzy Solar (USA) was turning over the keys to…..DJ Sean Tyas (USA/CH)For this edition of “Lost In Trancelation”.The small club was basically “sold out” for this event!Tech Trance, Uplifting Trance, Progressive Trance, Sean Tyas was delivering it!Spotted by the booth: DJ J13 (USA)Spotted on the dance floor: DJ Rusto (USA) and DJ Robb Blak (USA). Robb had opened the night earlier.Spotted in VIP: Suzy Solar with Brian Benning aka DJ Lil’ B (USA). Solar Power Music has brought in a new sound system to Bikkuri to improve what you hear. Spotted on the dance floor: Joe & ChristinaSpotted by the bar: Our favorite Atlantic Dance Hall bartender Fernando (center rear) and his entourage. It’s great to have “Lost In Trancelation” back in operation where you will find great international DJ’s up close and personal. No date yet for the next edition.American born, he is based in Switzerland.Such a great set! Sean had the crowd in a “state of Trance”.And a good time was had by all.
