Lots of changes happening at Universal CityWalk and we checked out the club options last week during our visit! Rumors continue that there might be a new nightlife complex included at their new theme park Epic Universe under construction at the far end of the Kirkman Road Extension.
THE GROOVE

STATUS: Closed

NOTES: Permanently closed; supposedly to be replaced with an escape room. Yeah.

RED COCONUT CLUB

STATUS: Temporarily Closed

NOTES: Supposedly available for private event rentals.

BOB MARLEY’S

STATUS: Open

NOTES: Restaurant open; live Reggae band with dancing late nights.

PAT O’BRIEN’S

STATUS: Open

NOTES: Outdoor dining open in back; dueling piano room open; indoor bar open too.

CITYWALK’s RISING STAR

STATUS: Open

NOTES: Karaoke open nightly.

FAT TUESDAY

STATUS: Open

NOTES: Take-away drinks only; famous for frozen drinks.

LATIN QUARTER

STATUS: LQ closed years ago.

NOTES: Replaced with Antojios Mexican restaurant which is open.

JIMMY BUFFET’S MARGARITAVILLE

STATUS: Open

NOTES: Restaurant open; not sure status of live band performances.

LONE PALM AIRPORT

STATUS: Open

NOTES: Bar, not club. Always seems to be busy!

HARD ROCK LIVE

STATUS: Open

NOTES: Hard Rock Cafe open. Rock Shop open. Hard Rock Live open for ticketed concerts.
