Located away from the downtown madness and out near Orlando Executive Airport (ORL), Gilt Concert Venue was last night’s home to a great DJ concert.Arrived to catch the last 20-minutes or so of a House set from DJ Miraly (USA).The early crowd was…..interesting.Had never seen her play before but I liked it. Some of her drops had the crowd screaming!Up next, DJ duo Too Heavy Crew (USA).They had the crowd bouncing!Their set was mostly House but may have drifted into Techno at times.We’ve seen them numerous times over the years with great sets at clubs like Celine and Elixir.And then promptly at 12:30AM, there he was! DJ Green Velvet (USA).Wearing his trademark bald head and neon green mohawk!Crowd got excited!Playing some of his hits such as “Voicemail (Meet Me At The Club)“.The dance floor stayed jammed!Party in VIP!Spotted on the dance floor: Debbie, Stacey & DJ Sandra Cruz (USA).Spotted in VIP: Babita & FriendYowsah, Yowsah, Yowsah!Spotted in VIP: This group that included (far right) Sammy & Joel from historic Suite B Lounge.Packed to the rafters!Delivering us “Jolene” towards the end of the night with many in the crowd singing the words. Produced with Claude vonStroke (USA) who we saw Friday night at Celine, together they produce and play under the GET REAL name.Talk about the club bouncing! It was one great song after another!A fellow graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where he earned an Engineering degree! Go ILLINI!Great show and a good time was had by all.
