You know by now if it’s at all possible on a Saturday night, we’re going to visit Independent Bar!
We found DJ Mickey (USA) in the booth followed by DJ KC Cut (USA) doing the late shift.
The early crowd on the dance floor.
And it would get more crowded. The Saturday night music is mostly 80’s Alternative.
Spotted in VIP: Jeff & Karen, friends from Mannequins.

Always a fun time at I-Bar because everyone loves the 80’s!
Speaking of 80’s, that was the theme last night too at Embassy Irish Bar.
DJ Mynd (USA) in the booth delivering the good stuff.
The dance floor bar was jammed.
As was the entrance bar.
DJ Mynd tag teamed the night with DJ Jimmy Joslin (USA). While I-Bar is more towards 80’s Alternative, everything 80’s goes here on Saturday nights at Embassy ranging from 80’s New Wave to 80’s Funk!
Spotted on the dance floor: DJ Pepper (USA) and DJ Amygurl (USA).
I don’t recall hearing Irish music at Embassy. Thursday nights are Breaks, Friday nights are House and Saturday nights are 80’s or occasionally 70’s Disco.
These two would play 2-3 songs at a time before switching and it was wonderful to hear so many great songs not heard literally in decades!
This guy was playing pool but could not stop himself from dancing. Yes, it was that good. Come check out Embassy on Saturday nights!

Saturday night resident DJ Dominick Morrison (USA) in the perch delivering mostly House music!
And the place was packed!
There was plenty of fine scenery!
Including this group we often see at “Sundown Sundays” downstairs at The Patio.

The lasers were flying!
This is what great House music does to people.
Everywhere we went last night, a good time was had by all.
