Friday night in Orlando and beginning the night at Embassy. You wouldn’t expect electronic dance music in an Irish bar but they have Breaks on Thursdays, House on Fridays and Retro on Saturdays!We arrived last night to find DJ Amygurl (USA) in the booth putting out the House!Both bars were seeing a lot of activity, even if the dance floor was not.She would alternate deck duties with DJ Rosk (USA).Spotted at the bar: Tracy and Leona. Tonight is 80’s Night at the Embassy ft. DJ Jimmy Joslin (USA) and DJ Mynd (USA) so wear some bright neon dayglow and skinny jeans!If you’re seeking electronic dance music on a weekend night, Aero Bar is the place!Friday night resident DJ Cliff T (USA) in the booth delivering the good stuff!The early crowd.And the scene just a few moments later!A mix of mostly House and Electro House.The lasers were flying!What was interesting is while I was over near the WC, I thought I heard the distinctive thump of EDM coming from downstairs in The Patio, a different club directly connected to Aero Bar. I knew that was either impossible or DJ Parry had the night off. Nope, went downstairs and found Doc John in the booth visiting with resident DJ Parry (USA) and Parry was actually playing three EDM songs back-to-back! There’s hope for this place after all!I think Parry realized what he had done and quickly went back to Hip Hop so I went back upstairs to Aero.As a rooftop bar, at Aero you’re literally “dancing with the stars”.And the weather was perfect last night! Come check out Aero.It’s been awhile since we’ve dropped in on Treehouse.First you climb the stairs and go up into the tree.No DJ here, just prerecorded music which last night was light Hip Hop.At Treehouse they promise you this…..But you often get this!Of course the main attraction at Treehouse is grabbing a drink or shot and then chilling picnic-style on the grass floor!Always a great vibe in here; everyone is happy! Everywhere I went last night, a good time was had by all.
