Club Reports: Liam Fitzpatrick’s, Dexter’s, Embassy Irish Bar, Hooch, Shots Orlando

Beginning Saturday night in Lake Mary at Liam Fitzpatrick’s.
Dinner with coworkers. Liam Fitzpatrick’s is more of a restaurant but they do have two active bars too. It’s located where Cancun-favorite Carlos & Charlie’s once was.
Right across the street is Dexter’s, another restaurant but it turns into a club on Thursday nights with a DJ and then live bands on Fridays & Saturdays.
The band Blue Stone Circle (USA) was on stage last night.
They had a good crowd on the dance floor with a lot of 70’s dance anthems like “Play That Funky Music” and “Walk This Way”.
If the band name sounds familiar to you, it’s because they were the resident band at Margaritaville in Universal CityWalk.
Yes, you might find the Why Not? Lounge crowd here at Dexter’s.
Present company excluded, of course.
Two Irish bars in one night! On to downtown Orlando and Embassy for 70’s Night.
Arrived to find DJ John Campisano (USA) in the booth playing Disco!
Alternating with DJ Jimmy Joslin (USA).
The bar stayed busy.
The dance floor was active too. “Ring My Bell””Bad Girl””Stayin’ Alive””We Are Family”. Good stuff right there.
Spotted taking selfies: Dianna & Kelly. 70’s & 80’s Nights might become a regular thing here at Embassy so we’ll keep you updated!
We normally only visit Monkey Bar when inside the Wall St. Plaza complex but made a point last night to stop by Hooch.
To say hello to DJ Xavier Maxwell (USA).
Located where Globe used to be, Hooch is not really a dance club but a popular place to stop by for a drink.
The crowds have not fully returned to Wall St. following the Covid19 closures last year but it has gotten noticeably busier these past couple months.
The music is mostly Hip Hop.
It’s been awhile since we visited Shots Orlando.
But when DJ Rincon (USA) is playing downtown, you visit!
The music was Hip Hop and the place was pretty packed.
If you dance, you kind of do it in place.
We know DJ Rincon from his prior residencies at House of Blues in Disney Springs and The Groove in Universal CityWalk.
Someone once said that you can never go wrong with Go Go girls.
Someone was right!
Everywhere I went last night, a good time was had by all.
