Club Reports: Vinyl Cafe, Independent Bar, Elixir Bar, Aero Bar

Sad news last night from Vinyl Cafe aka Vinyl Arts Bar. After a five year run, they are closing and their final party will be on New Years Eve.
A new owner will be taking over in here, renovating and then opening as a completely new venue of which we have no details yet. Vinyl owner and DJ Wilson Santos (USA) tells us that he is retaining ownership of the Vinyl name and is looking for a new location to reopen. We’ve had so much fun in here over the past five years as both local and big name DJ’s have played this room. We’ll keep you updated!
You know by now if it’s at all possible on a Saturday night, I’m going to drop by Independent Bar.
Up in the booth we found DJ Rob (USA).
Just a small contingent on the dance floor when I arrived.
But it quickly picked up!
The Saturday night format is mostly 80’s New Wave.
Everybody loves the 80’s!
Elixir Bar is across Washington Street from I-Bar.
Saturday night resident DJ Chino (USA) was in the booth upon arrival.
Their outdoor patio and bar were busy, even if the dance floor at this point was not.
Mostly House music and EDM!
Elixir always gets crowded close to midnight.
DJ K1K0 (USA) covering for Chino’s union-mandated break.
Activity was really picking up!
As an outdoor patio club, you’re literally “dancing with the stars”.
The peeps want House music and things were really looking good!
Next over to Aero Bar to finish off the night.
Saturday night resident DJ Dominick Morrison (USA) in the booth delivering the good stuff!
House music and EDM!
Groups were maintaining social-distancing from each other.
The lasers were flying!
The Dom is the New Years Eve resident DJ at EPCOT: China (LINK) and I was hoping he was going to tell me that Disney changed their mind and they are going to do their “DJ’s Around The World” event on NYE. Nope, it remains cancelled this year.
Aero Bar is the place to be on both Friday and Saturday nights!
As an outdoor rooftop club, you’re literally “dancing with the stars”.
The dance floor was jamming.
The peeps want House music and things were really looking good!
A good time was had by all.
