Ace Cafe has become concert central in downtown Orlando. We were here for SHADE on Friday night ft. DJ Carlos Mendoza (EC/USA) and last night we were here for the first night of “Endless Summer”.Last night’s show was a “drive-in rave” event where patrons arrived in their cars and could remain there or could move forward to the barrier by the stage. Orlando’s first drive-in rave took place in August here at Ace Cafe as we captured here.DJ Modestep (USA) was on the decks when we arrived. Most of the crowd had been here since 4PM to 6PM! Last night’s event featured predominately Dubstep and Heavy Bass music.The barrier was placed further towards the parking lot compared to the event in August.The peeps want Dubstep!A rain shower passed through around 10PM but it didn’t damper the spirit.Day 2 of “Endless Summer” begins at 4PM this afternoon ft. He’s from the Köln / Düsseldorf area.The headbanging crowd would lift and smash-down the barrier to the beat of the music!Ace is the place! On November 13th a night of Breaks with DJ’s Sandi, Jeffee, Davie D and more and this event is free. On November 28th don’t miss “Rewind” with DJ X, K5, Mark Sanchez and more! On December 19th DJ Jimmy Joslin has his annual birthday party here with his DJ guest list pending but it’s always one of the funnest parties of the year!You know by now if it’s at all possible on a Saturday night, we’re going to drop by I-Bar.Just as it should be on a Saturday night, DJ KC Kut (USA) in the perch!The tables have been taken off the dance floor and there was a decent crowd in the club.Spotted in VIP: Doc JohnThe Saturday night format is 80’s New Wave hits.Because everybody loves the 80’s!Beginning this coming Thursday at Independent Bar, a new Trap night ft. DJ Hoss (USA). That should prove interesting. Elixir Bar is both a club and a restaurant and because of the latter, they were able to legally operate most of this past summer. Not sure I could have otherwise survived!And this is the guy who made it happen…..Saturday night resident DJ Chino (USA).House music all night long!The DJ booth was moved to the street end of their outdoor patio earlier this year but we’re told they are renovating the former booth at the opposite end and they’ll be returning there soon.That look you get from great House music.Chino is the Friday night resident DJ at The Groove in Universal CityWalk but no word yet on when that may be reopening.We don’t usually visit 64 North.It’s more of a chit chat place. There is no DJ but they pipe-in the music from next door at The Patio.Here to say hello to Blog-favorite Lindsay with Ricky Bobby.New directional sign points you to where you want to go. The Patio was next on our bar tour.Resident DJ Parry (USA) was in the booth playing Top 40.Which includes a lot of Hip Hop hits.While most of the club is covered, the dance floor is actually open-air.Spotted on the dance floor: AshleyThere was snow falling for awhile but it didn’t stick!OK, one more stop for Aero Bar!Saturday night resident DJ Dominick Morrison (USA) was delivering the good stuff.House music and EDM!The peeps want House music!The Dom had everyone bouncing!If you love Techno and Tech House, check out his “Sundown Sundays” downstairs at The Patio tonight! Not only great music but some amazing lighting as well.The lasers were flying. As a rooftop club, at Aero you’re literally “dancing with the stars”!Lots of “Melbourne Shuffle” going on!A good time was had by all.
