Ace Cafe Orlando was the place to be last night!Because The Yelves (USA) Christmas Rock Band was playing Christmas tunes!Just not a lot of people came out for “Christmas In July”.Between band sets, DJ Jerry “The Reverend” Johnson (USA) was in the booth.Playing Classic Top 40 hits mostly from the late 70’s & 80’s.During their first set they played some of the more famous Christmas songs you might recognize.But in their next set they played only their own music, all related somehow to Christmas! Such as their classic “Rasta Snowman” seen here. The Yelves are truly “America’s only all-original Christmas Rock band!” Initially from the North Pole but now based in Orlando, they write songs AND make toys. They Rock! Ace Cafe Orlando is their only location in the United States. The original is still in London (GB) and there are others in Beijing (PRC), Lucerne (CH), Barcelona (E) and Lahti (FIN).Now THAT’s the Christmas spirit! A good time was had by all.
