Club Reports: Elixir Bar, Studio 27, Bullitt Bar, The Beacham, Independent Bar

Began our Saturday night club hop at Elixir Bar.
Out on Elixir’s famous patio, DJ Benny Black (USA).
But a cold front had passed through Orlando on Saturday morning and on this cold (by Florida standards) Saturday night, no one was here.
It was a great House set though!
Back in the 1930’s this was Herman’s Loan Office. Most recently it was Native Social Lounge. Now it has reopened as Studio 27.
DJ Blaze (USA) on the decks playing Hip Hop!
The dancing area that was so popular during the Native era is still there!
Decent crowd for a new club.
DJ Blaze actually remembered me taking his picture years ago at a club over on Pine Street. I checked the Blog archives and wow, it was back in 2011 at Zen Exotic Lounge here!
The place has a lot of potential.
It’s been awhile since we dropped by Bullitt Bar.
DJ Chino (USA) in the booth located aft in the club.
The place was packed! The music primarily Hip Hop.
It’s more of a mingling and chit-chat club than a dancing club.
DJ Chino is the Friday night resident DJ at The Groove at Universal CityWalk.
Bullitt Bar is themed from the 1968 film with the same name.
First visit to The Beacham since the AAHZ Reunion last November.
The place was still a bit spartan when I first arrived.
But on Friday and Saturday nights the place fills fast!
On stage, MC Brittany and DJ Richie Rich (USA).
The music Hop Hop and R&B.
It was hard to move about the place!
You know by now if it’s at all possible on a Saturday night, I’m going to visit I-Bar.
Saturday night resident DJ Indie John (USA)
The Saturday night format is 80’s New Wave!
And it always draws a good crowd because everybody loves the 80’s!
Spotted on the dance floor: Karen from Mannequins!
Always fun at I-Bar!
A good time was had by all.
