EDC Orlando 2018 – Day 2 Recap

With just a few hours of sleep completed, it was time to get up and do it again!
Day 2 at Electric Daisy Carnival – Orlando!
KANDY kicked things off on the Kinetic Field stage.

As the gates opened and gathered crowds strolled in, we stopped by the neonGARDEN stage for DJ Carlos Mendoza (USA).
House set as people trickled into the tent.
Then over to the circuitGROUNDS stage and seeing Damaged Goods (USA) for the first time.
The early crowd looking on.
The Boombox Art Car was already bouncing!
For DJ Sloth (USA).

Then up close and personal with the kineticFIELD main stage!
And a great House/Techno set from DJ Adin (NL).
Then over to the sandy shores of Corona Electric Beach.

Mermaid spotted!
While DJ duo NXWYXRK (USA) played the tunes!
There’s always fun to be had at the beach!
Back to the tent for DJ Kevin Knapp (USA / D).

More ass cheeks per capita than any other EDC I’ve been to!
Back over to the circuitGROUNDS which is located across Rio Grande Avenue from the rest of the festival.

Nitti Gritti working the controls.

DJ Loudpvck (USA).
Delivering Heavy Bass!
You can never go wrong with Go Go girls!

At 3pm in the afternoon, Moksi took the stage at Kinetic Field and got the crowd fired up.

About 5PM and kineticFIELD really beginning to fill in.

Tag team set from DJ Alok (BR) and DJ duo Nervo (AUS).

Nervo & Alok put on an amazing performance!  Check out this video from Alok’s Facebook page

First time seeing the Nervo sisters’ new hair styles!
The sun had set and now it was time for what everyone had gathered for!
Tiësto (NL)

Long separated from his Trance days, it was a pure EDM set with a lot of his newer hits.
I’ve seen many crowds over the years here at the EDC main stage (including forTiësto) but this was as packed as I’ve ever seen it!
Another view from the Jumbotron inside Camping World Stadium.

While Tiesto was busy on the Kinetic Field stage, the Corona Electric Beach hosted a party with Manny Mak:

And then it was time for the opening ceremony at Kinetic Field.

After Tiësto there was a fireworks show and then DJ Kayzo (USA) and he went a bit more Hardstyle on us.
But a few minutes into his set it became noticeable that a fire was underway in the left fireworks pod!
And it became pretty large!
Very proud of the Orlando Fire Department though as they arrived within 5 minutes and had the fire out within another 5 minutes!
The two views above taken off the stadium’s Jumbotron. Great work OFD!
Until the fire was out they asked everyone to vacate kineticFIELD so the other music areas got really crowded!
More Heavy Bass from DJ G-Buck at Corona Beach.

Corona Electric Beach also hosted Kayzo due to the situation with the fire at Kinetic Field.

Nitti Gritti also performed at the beach.
At the boombox, DJ Jessica Audiffred (MEX).
Her Dubstep / Bass set had the crowd in a frenzy!
When it was time to chill, there was the lake shore.
Grassy fields.
Cuddle huddles in the hammock.
Or just wander around in your tighty whiteys!
You could dress up.
Or dress down!

Meanwhile in the Neon Garden tent, Tiga was working his magic on the crowd.

Then it was time for The Martinez Brothers (USA).
First time ever seeing them live!
The lasers were flying!
And their Tech House drops had everyone bouncing!
