It lasted just a few months but sources tell Orlando Entertainment News that Wicked Whiskeys is dropping their Country music format effective immediately. As you know, WW took over the spot vacated by Independent Bar/Barbarella and promptly opened (after adding a wood floor) as a Country music venue. It just never caught-on. Operated by The Beacham, Country music seemed to be the only niche they didn’t already have. On weekend nights The Beacham has Hip Hop and R&B, The Social has Latin, The Patio has Top 40, Inside at The Patio has Hip Hop and Aero has EDM. We believe the Wicked Whiskeys name will remain (for now) and the music will likely move towards more Hip Hop, but with Hookahs. UPDATE: The new name is apparently The Corner Orlando. Friday & Saturday will be Open Format with Hip Hop on Sundays.
