Club Report: Cindy’s @ Chicago Athletic Club (Chicago)

As you know by now, when we’re traveling we like to check-out some of the local bars and clubs and we did just that last night while visiting Chicago. The Chicago Athletic Club seems to be an unlikely place for a bar.
Located at 12 S. Michigan Avenue in the heart of downtown, the building isn’t particularly high for a rooftop bar but what it lacks in height, it makes up for in its location.
As soon as you enter the room, the Cindy’s Bar balcony draws your attention!
There is a bar outside here in the far corner but it’s all about the view.
Because it overlooks Millennium Park and its Cloud Gate sculpture.
Which everyone just calls “The Bean”. With free admission, this is Chicago’s #1 tourist attraction.
Looking towards Grant Park, Chicago’s famed Art Institute is also nearby…..
And off in the distance, the Adler Planetarium and around the southern bend of Lake Michigan, the steel mills of northwest Indiana.
Admission to Cindy’s at the Chicago Athletic Club is free and a good time is had by all.
